These terms apply to everyone who uses levelpeek.com. By reading the site you accept them. If something here does not suit you, please stop using the site and, if you would like, tell us why at editor@levelpeek.com.

What this site is

LevelPeek is an independent editorial project about free match-3 and candy-puzzle games published on Google Play. Everything we write is opinion and description based on hands-on play, not a technical certification and not advice. Star figures and review counts shown on the cards are quoted from the Google Play listing for the Canadian storefront on the day of publication and re-checked each month; the store may show different figures later.

How the site is funded

The public shelf is free to read. The site shows no advertising and sells no placements; it is funded by LevelPeek Plus memberships. A place on the shelf is decided by the desk alone and is not for sale: no studio pays to appear, none of them sees a note before it is published, and none can have a line changed afterwards. We do not accept payment in exchange for a favourable description. Links to Google Play are ordinary links so you can check a store page yourself.

No affiliation

LevelPeek is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google LLC, Google Play, or any studio named on this site. Google Play and the Google Play logo are trademarks of Google LLC. Game titles, icons and screenshots remain the property of their respective studios and are shown here only to identify the titles we write about, under fair dealing for reporting and criticism. If you hold rights in material shown here and would like it removed, write to us and we will act promptly.

Downloads and third-party services

We do not host, distribute or modify any game. Every card links to the official Google Play listing, and any installation happens there, under Google's terms and the studio's own conditions. We are not responsible for the content, in-game systems or data practices of any third-party application or website.

LevelPeek Plus membership

• What it is. An optional membership adding extended write-ups, early access to each new shelf, the weekly email digest and the full archive of past shelves. The public shelf stays free without it.
• Price. C$4.90 per month, or C$39 per year, in Canadian dollars and inclusive of GST, HST or QST where it applies.
• Activation stage. The program is being activated. Joining the waiting list through the form on the home page costs nothing and creates no obligation for either side.
• No charge before confirmation. Places open gradually as the archive is built. Nothing is charged until a place is offered to you, you accept it, and the arrangement is confirmed with you in writing. Card details are never collected through the form on this site.
• Cancellation. A membership can be cancelled at any time and takes effect at the end of the paid period; a request made within ten days of a first charge is refunded in full.
• Changes. If the price or the contents of the membership change, current members are told at least 30 days in advance and may cancel before the change applies.

Consumer protection law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, warranty or remedy you have under the Consumer Protection Act or equivalent consumer legislation of the province in which you live, or under any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Statements we make about the site and about the membership are meant to be accurate and capable of being supported, as the Competition Act requires of representations made to the public, and our services are supplied with due care and skill.

Acceptable use

• Read, quote and link to our pages, with a clear credit and a link back.
• Do not republish the editorial text in full without written permission.
• Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at a volume that affects other readers, or misrepresent yourself as LevelPeek.

Intellectual property

The editorial text, page structure, styling and layout of levelpeek.com belong to LevelPeek. Third-party material named above belongs to its owners.

Disclaimer and liability

The site is provided as it stands. We take care with what we publish, but we do not guarantee that every figure or description is complete, current or free of error, or that the site is always available. To the extent permitted by law, and subject to the consumer protection paragraph above, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on the site or on any third-party service reached from it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and of the province in which the reader resides, and the courts of that province have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
